Why.

Why I have the deepest respect for my friends at Gym Jones, it is difficult at best to find people who are like minded but to find those who practice what they preach is exceptional.  I thank them for also carrying that torch.

Be willing to move on from a particular identifying idea or activity or period in your life. When it is time to do so, let it go instead of inhabiting it. Do not become it, or die chained to it.

The first goal need not be the final one
Use physical activity to diagnose and learn oneself

I will never arrive
I will never “know”
I will only know how little I know
If and when I know more than others I will wear it on my sleeve, as a badge, as my standard. I will be ego-driven where appropriate and sometimes where it’s not. I will be ego-less where it is appropriate, and necessary. I will try not to get in my own way. I will use my talent instead of wasting it.

I won’t make excuses when I fall short.
Instead I will make corrections.


Climb like a Girl – Red Rock, NV October 24th – 26th

“Climb” Like a Girl is in it’s 12th season!

We’ve had three Bouldering clinics and two Sport Climbing Clinics, the next trip on the docket is: A new adventure to Red Rock, NV.

This clinic will be 2 – 3 days in length. October 24 – 26th, 2014 This is a brand new clinic, I’ve spent hundreds of days climbing and guiding in the area and have been offered permit days and the unique opportunity to bring a group of you out to Red Rocks to climb! This will be a sport climbing trip, consisting of two days of climbing Saturday and Sunday, I will be offering an additional day on Friday for those who are interested! Weekend clinic cost is $495, an additional day will dependon ratio $200-$275. You can arrange to drive out and camp, fly out, rent a car, stay in an inexpensive hotel close by…all very afforable depending on your desire.
