Soren Lindholm

It’s a challenge to capture in a few short phrases this young man’s journey, how immeasurably proud I am of him, how honored we all are to know him and to work with him at Ripple Effect over all these years. Soren @soren_lindholm99 suffered a severe spinal cord injury in early 2017, still a student in high school at CRMS; it left him paralyzed from the navel down. Fast forward eight years, countless hours of physical therapy, living through excruciating nerve pain for years leading to making an impossible decision to have nerves permanently disabled ending his journey to walk again just to be out of pain, seeking out every therapy possible to find another path along the way. Ever determined, he is skiing in a sit ski faster and more aggressively than I will ever attempt, he has done Grand Canyon river trips, High Fives Foundation surf camps and fundraisers, the list goes on and on. His most recent and impressive accomplishment swimming from Alcatraz to San Fransisco’s Fishermans Wharf, then the next day swimming the length of the Golden Gate Bridge south to north, supported by the Ogilby family inviting him to join their family adventure. Give this young man a follow to see what is next and a huge shout out to his enduring spirit and positive attitude in spite of hardship. He is an inspiration to us all!
